Dell is committed to delivering the services, solutions and products our customers need to drive their business goals and suit their lifestyles. By listening to our customers, Dell continues to identify areas to expand our offerings, and in some cases, we have acquired outstanding companies with expertise in those areas. We hope to better serve the customers of the companies we acquire by preserving the characteristics that make that company successful, while leveraging Dell’s strengths to grow the business and expand its offerings to Dell customers globally.
Dell is uniquely positioned to impact industry trends
Dell leads enabling standards and technologies through industry groups and strategic partners. We partner, rather than compete, with top industry technology suppliers and original development manufacturers. These partnerships give us a uniquely broad perspective on the computing landscape.
Since the first Dell PC was introduced in 1986, Dell has continued to shape the industry by breaking new ground and pioneering critical developments in home, small business and enterprise computing. We gather requirements directly through tens of thousands of daily customer interactions, organized events, social media venues and customer panels. Maintaining strong internal development capabilities, we spur innovation that delivers value to customers.
Dell’s research and development efforts now span the globe, driven by some of the industry’s foremost product designers and engineers. At the core of Dell’s innovation approach; however, remains an unwavering commitment to deliver new and better solutions that directly address customer needs.
DELL LAPTOP & DESKTOP PC REVIEWS

With its finally-improved webcam and longer battery life, the Dell XPS 13 may not be our ‘Best in Class’ laptop of 2019, but it remains among the very best the world over.
It’s not the thinnest, lightest, or most powerful gaming laptop on the market, and we wish its 15.6-inch screen were brighter, but the GTX 1050 Ti-powered Dell G3 packs an impressive punch.

The Dell P2417H is an average 1080p monitor with and IPS-type LCD, giving it wide viewing angles. Its stand offers a wide range of ergonomic adjustments and its low input lag keeps it responsive. Unfortunately, its picture quality leaves a bit to be desired and gamers might be disappointed by its standard 60 Hz refresh rate.
Dell 2020 Legacy of Good Plan
The idea that technology should be a driver of human progress is central to how Dell thinks as a company. We believe it can unlock health, happiness and prosperity – helping all people reach their full potential and share in the common good. It can fuel the imagination. It can help us heal the sick. It can even help us restore the environment and reveal the mysteries of science. Technology drives what’s good.
Our Legacy of Good Plan captures this idea and spells out our commitment to put our technology and expertise to work where they can do the most good for people and the planet.
First articulated in the fall of 2013, the Plan outlines our strategic vision for the year 2020 – a view of what social and environmental milestones we expect to achieve. These goals are intertwined with the business, informing our actions, offerings and relationships.
The original plan outlined our path, including a series of goals bound by an end date of 2020. Among them, our 10×20 Goal is our most ambitious, aggregating the work and measuring an outcome that stretches across many of our aspirations while helping demonstrate what is truly possible at the hands of our customers and partners all of us working together. The goal hopes to demonstrate that technology creates a net positive effect in aggregate, adding 10 times the amount of “good” compared to the footprint it creates.
Integrating EMC in September 2016 was an opportunity to become even more ambitious in our aims. Taking the best of the two legacy companies and updating our goals, we are confident in our journey to 2020. It continues to focus across our value chain, looking at the environment, our communities, our people and our supply chain, as well as progress against our 10×20 goal. We will continue to report annually on our progress our successes and our challenges.
